Hooray it's May!!! Are you ready to shake the cold and rainy weather? For years, the cold, rainy weather reminded me of two of my favourite places, England and Seattle. So, during the month of April, I remembered the good times I had spent in those places many years ago. I can still smile in the rain because of those lovely memories.
Speaking of England, the highly anticipated event of April, and possibly of the year, was the royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton on April 29th which took place in London, England. Ever since the couple announced their engagement in November, 2010, many of us have been talking about Prince William and Kate Middleton. The latest “super couple” has captured the hearts of people around the world. As the day approached, the media fed us with more information, and we simply savoured it. It made us feel as though we were also one of the guests. In fact, we were one of about two billion guests, participating live on the streets of London, watching our televisions or computers. We gathered with our friends, family, co-workers and if you were like me, it was a day of happiness and celebration almost all day long. I crashed the day after the wedding! From the early morning wedding live on tv, watching more of it on tv at lunch time and also in the evening, plus working during the day, it was draining.
A few days have passed and I hope you are still eager to learn about the joyous occasion. I would like to share news about the engagement, wedding program, the costs, the dresses and jewellery, the trees in Westminster Abbey, photos (of course!) and more! So, here we go!

It is now the month of May – still rainy these past few days. Canadians have just gone through a federal election and on May 2nd, and coincidentally, news of Osama bin Laden’s death was also released. Interesting times!
I’ll check back with you next month! Let me know what you’re up to and whether you have vacation plans coming up. I can definitely live vicariously through you!
Please drop by in upcoming months and check out the KaTsZoNe Calendar to and see which events I am interested in attending. I may not always make it there but I have chosen certain events on my radar. Go to www.katszone.com/page/page/6673173.htm.
Time to hop on the mother ship and snooze – I’m just in that kind of mood! Wedding, election, rain – over and out!
